how a little horse rescued me.....

before i begin......want to say a few things....i am inspired to write this because of merri melde and her writings.....she is a writer i am not.....the little horse that i am talking about is the culmination of many things that God has blessed me w/here in oreana.....most importantly....all the AMAZING people that live here....carol brand,steph teeter,merri melde,conni holloway,leah osborne, and on and on{and thats not even counting all the wonderful people that i have met in the endurance world}.....back to the little horse....steph traded for him for endurance.net advertising....PLUS a good amount of money.....he came up from mandolin hill farms in texas....in the spring of 2010.....a little bay horse that new nothing about running out free w/a herd....{took him a month to cross the creek!}....tagged w/the nick name tex,he bonded quickly to merri's retired racing horse, stormy,.....meanwhile a couple of places down the road,linda...me....was so depressed i could barely  go out and feed..was .non functional.....some how my friend carol brand talked me into riding "krusty"....steph teeters 20 yr old ex endurance horse.....oh ok....i brush him...steph helps me get boots on his massive feet....then i start riding thi..wow this is fun ..this is really fun.......steph is on this cute little bay horse...what a cute butt...after a few days of riding...steph asks me..."do you want to ride tex??"...omg...DID I WANT TO RIDE HIM!!!!!!!!YES!!!!.....my double vision has kicked in...need a break
